Happy Kid! by Gail Gauthier and the King in the Window by Adam Gopnik. completed happy kid! last night. it's an okay book, didn't really have closure though. the ending was a unique one, but it should have been different. im gonna start the king in the window today...fantasy is mah thingg.(; xDD

i finished The Red Pyramid, the first book in the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan last night at 1:24 A.M. ^_^ i didnt realize how completely linked the two books are. as u can remember, i read the 2nd book, the throne of fire, first. but the two books are entirely intertwined! i knew most of the surprising things that would happen  in the red pyramid beforehand. but it wasnt that much of a giveaway. awesome book. finished moby dick. i dont get whats so great about it and why its such a famous classic...maybe it was cuz i didnt understand the pirate language that much. anyway well i gave up on the splendor falls...wasnt interested. so now the only book im reading is the red pyramid. but guess what?! i went to the midnight premiere of harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 with my friend last night and it was epically awesome!!! :D cyaa

namaste readers. last week i started going to a summer camp for reading and writing. they let us check out books at the library and take books home from the center. i picked a book called The Splendor Falls by Rosemary Clement-Moore. we're also reading a group book called My Life in Dog Years by Gary Paulsen. by the way i finished reading The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma, so now i'm done with the series! :D YAY THIS IS A LEGENDARY MOMENT. lol ;) anyway i think its the best of all the books in the series. at the end all their problems are solved...but they can always find more. and my friend gave me her copy of The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, the first book in the Kane Chronicles (remember? i already read the 2nd :P) so im currently reading 3 books (MOBY DICK duhh u can never forget the huge white whale) til next time...wow its already July...felt like yesterday was the last day of school. ;) :D <33

summer readin

yo wassup peeps ok so i decided i should read some classics this summer. so i put Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and Moby Dick by Herman Melville on hold at my local library along with The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma by Trenton Lee Sterwart, the 3rd and last book in the series. i got moby dick and the mysterious benedict society and the prisoner's dilemma but treasure island isnt available yet. moby dick isnt what i expected. it's a pretty thin and short COMIC book. but oh well ill still read it. ;) :D <33 farewell friends.

everyone: i finished This Isn't What It Looks Like by Pseudonymous Bosch, the 4th book in the Secret Series, and also The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan, the 2nd book in the Kane Chronicles. i still need to read The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, the 1st book in the Kane Chronicles, but i wasnt that lost on this one. so we got all our stuff back from school today and u no that self selected reading book? The Calder Game by Blue Balliett? I brought it home and finished it. so i finished three books in the past 2 weeks. also...TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 me at least. ;P ill be doin a lot of readin this summer...and off to bein a 7th grader. :) aww remember when i first started this blog and i was in 5th grade?? ohh memories. bye peeps. ;) :D <33

time passes so fast

heyy everybody i finished reading This Book is Not Good For You by Pseudonymous Bosch the 3rd book in the Secret Series about last weekend. I still haven't gotten a chance to present my book report on The Adventures on Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain but ill tell u my grade once i get it. we had an end of the book test for Behind the Bedroom Wall by Laura E. Williams on friday, ill tell u my grade on that too after i know it. 2 more weeks left of school and then im a 7th grader! wow time pases so fast...anyway ill probably borrow This Isn't What It Looks Like from my friend now the 4th book in the Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch and i cant wait for the 5th one to come out! also last week i was at the Poconos, it was super fun i had a great time :D

hola amigos i finished reading If You're Reading This, It's Too Late by Pseudonymous Bosch. it was awesome as always. :) my friend said i could also borrow the next book (the 3rd one in the secret series) This Book is Not Good For You. if you read these books before, u mightve noticed that each book is about a different sense. the first one is about smell, the second one is about sound, the third one is about taste, the fourth one is about sight, and theres gonna be a fifth one comin out about...YES touch u guessed it! :) i also finished reading the Black Book of Buried Secrets by Rick Riordan. its just a bunch of information about all the branches and how the vespers are now coming...yupp. i still need to do chapter responses for The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery, but i finished the book already. and in school im reading Behind the Bedroom Wall by Laura E. Williams. oh and im going to present my book report for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer on monday, ill tell u my grade as soon as i get it. ttyl :D
