wow

haven't read anything in months...what with high school and all so i ordered the Fault in Our Stars by John Green cuz I heard a lot about it and see all these quotes on tumblr. i got it today, have an essay to write, and lets just say i have not gotten any work done. God, it is amazing. I don't know if I just missed the feeling of just sitting down with a good book for pleasure, but it really is extraordinary. It's not only the writing .. like something about the words and the story and the way he narrates, idk. Literally couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the movie, although I know it probably won't bring the same feeling.

Hi

Summer reading books: Of mice &men, To Kill a Mockingbird, A Separate Peace. I liked a separate peace the best. All deep stuff but fun taken away when we have to do so much work on them.

iDunno

I didn't even finish Ashfall. And I have to do a project on it. A monologue. But the thing is, I didn't have to do anything besides read the beginning and end to know what happened. These whole "world-ending" books seem to bore me. So I read this book (it's actually part of a series but I chose it in the wrong order.. whoops) called Chosen by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. It was really good! Lots of drama, fantasy, and new stuff. It was different. Alsoo, I just made an account on goodreads. It's fun and helps me choose books I like.. Also read Forgotten Fire by Adam Bagdasarian about the Armenian genocide - little graphic, but seriously amazing. Kbai.

Pigeons. Yum.

Finished Guantanamo Boy, even made a trailer for it for LAL. :) Started Ashfall by Mike Mullin. I'm into these "world ending" type of stories now. But I gave up on the Gone series. They're too long books that take a looong time to go anywhere. Lol I also have a tumblr, scr3w-s0ciety.tumblr.com. Buhbye.

been long time. and i mean long.

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead -- friend recommended it to me yesterday at the school library when we were checking out books, she goes "this is my favorite book of all time" im like how can u have a favorite book thats crazy its like having a favorite movie.. or food...or person :P but i got it anyway and guess what its lying finished in my lap right now. [no school for Yom Kippur]. it has a Newbery medal, and okay yup one of the best books I've read in a while. also its funny cuz the main character is reading a book in this book (bookception?) called A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle which I have actually read [also great book. a classic] its kind of old as it was written and takes place back in the 1960s but you would never notice it. soo, thats it and now im starting the 2nd book i checked out called GONE by Michael Grant .... looks very very interesting and its a series. thoughts later(: oh remember how i was in 5th grade when i started this blog? well 3rd year anniversary, haha im in 8th now. this has mostly turned into a personal site where i list all the books ive read so maybe if its worth reading them again in the future. also on 39 Clues: eh. new book came out but i think ive given up on that series, its pretty boring now. they prolonged it too far. the first ten books were amazing but now its just continuing on. so yeah(: bye

WOW.

i just finished catching fire, the 2nd book in the hunger games. it was just...awesome. i could not stop reading it. it's a pretty thick book, and i finished it in 2 days. i just kept reading. nothing else. it's so hard to stop. it's even better than the first book. it has you mesmerized. and im not exaggerating when i say you have no idea whatsoever what will happen on the next page, because it's true. you can never even guess. you know that temptation you get when you're on the last page of a chapter (and you can tell cuz it ends short) and it takes all you have not to look to see what's the little cliffhanger the author always leaves you off on? I love those. and they're in every single chapter, i think like 27 of them, in catching fire. things that you thought were true since the beginning of the series are revealed to be otherwise. the entire story takes a turn when something so unpredictable happens. And the best part is? When I immediately finished catching fire, I reached for Mockingjay. the next book. it waited for me. and it was right there. when i started, it was like it continued straight from the end of the previous book. im serious, i think suzanne collins wrote these right after one another, because it's like the book had no end. im sure ill finish mockingjay, too in like a matter of days. and then what will i do with my life? i dont know LOL:) <3

lots of new stuffff

got new 39 clues book The Dead of Night by Peter Lerangis and finished it. GOT ALL 3 HUNGER GAMES BOOKS !! (by Suzanne Collins) finished the 1st one, mental note: never watch the movie before reading the book. or...if you watch the movie first dont read the book at all. cuz the whole time i was reading the hunger games book i was picturing the movie. and i knew exactly what would happen next, and frankly i was kinda boored:P but now im reading Catching Fire and im more exxciiited(: in LAL we started a new book you may know it called Flush by Carl Hiaasen. cya<3
